I select which boards I want to pin these images to and add them to the queue. After I’ve chosen the pins, I click Go Schedule. You can see the selected pins at the bottom. It will bring up a window where I can select pins to schedule.Īs I select the pins, it will outline them in blue. I open up one of the boards and click the Tailwind plug-in button. Here’s what I do: I have two boards at the top of my Pinterest page, one for my blog and one for TpT products. You can even schedule pins from Pinterest. In fact, if I want to schedule more than one pin, I can schedule multiple pins at the same time from the same web site. I can be on any web page with an image and click the Tailwind button to schedule a pin. This is another key component of the program. Tailwind has browser plug-ins for all the major web browsers. You can also schedule pins to be pushed to Twitter and Facebook, if you have those linked in Pinterest. One of my favorite parts is that shuffle button (more about that later). All the boxes (thumbnails and the detailed ones) are movable, so you can easily rearrange the pins. I can see the thumbnails on the right and more detail on the left. Using Tailwind has not only dramatically increased my repin rate, it has also allowed me to pin at the best times of day that are optimized for for my audience, teachers. That is how I get my products and blog posts in front of more and more people. The most important component of Pinterest, in my opinion, is repins. Pinterest accounts for a ton of traffic to my blog and my TpT store. I let Tailwind take care of my content and it has allowed me to focus on finding and pinning other peoples’ great images. Plus, I’m not worried about pinning my content all the time. Now, I schedule it out and my Pinterest stress-level is much, much lower. Before Tailwind, I was on Pinterest multiple times a day and focused on pinning my own content, making sure I wasn’t spamming anyone, and panicked about not pinning enough. It also analyzes your pins and how people engage with your pins, giving you data about which boards are the best for you, which pins are outperforming others, and how you are doing on Pinterest.
